Jacquie Aiche Jewelry
Handcrafted Fine Jewelry That Touches the Souls of Women

Jacquie Aiche, a native Angeleno, owned a retail store in Los Angeles for fifteen years before starting Jacquie Aiche Jewelry in 2000. “Jewelry became my passion, so I ended up closing my shop and focusing on it fulltime,” she says. Her designs bring out aspects of a woman’s personality, to make her feel and appear more mysterious, exotic, mischievous or luminescent. She uses only the highest quality materials like 18 and 14 karat gold, sterling silver, and precious and semi-precious gemstones, along with diamonds, rubies, minerals, rocks, and more to create her distinct pieces. Jacquie Aiche Jewelry has gained worldwide notoriety as celebrity clients like Halle Berry, Sheryl crow, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson, Daisy Fuentes, Alex von Furstenberg, Ryan Haddon, Mary J. Blige, Faith Hill and Kristin Cavallari have been seen wearing her original designs. Her jewelry has also been featured in numerous magazines, films, and television shows.
She has always been creative and expressive and even went through a painting stage several years ago. Jacquie naturally became a jewelry designer as she has been making jewelry since she was a little girl and was always drawn to it. As she got older, Jacquie had a hard time finding pieces she wanted to wear and ended up creating pieces for herself while she was in the process of getting pregnant. This personal outlet turned into Jacquie Aiche Incorporated. Her work is the result of true talent as she never attended college or received formal training. She merely took a jewelry making classes and metal smith courses throughout the years. She describes Jacquie Aiche Jewelry as hippie chic meets cool and classic. “I am definitely a denim and diamonds kind of girl,” she shares and loves working with raw gemstones. She has a celebrity following and the Pave Wishbone Necklace is a favorite amongst the stars for its classic symbol and dazzling design.
Jacquie Aiche Jewelry is unique from other designer pieces because the designer keeps her collection light and fresh to find that sweet balance. She is always drawn to rocks and minerals and likes to add a little refined touch of diamonds whenever she can. For everyday, we adore the Herkimer Crystal Studs for their simplicity and wearability. Each vermeil gold prong holds an incredibly clear and pristine Herkimer crystal. Unlike an average piece of quartz, a Herkimer is a double-terminated quartz crystal known for its extreme clarity and believed to have holistic qualities. The natural facets are both beautiful and interesting when worn on the lobes and will go with absolutely everything.
Currently her favorite pieces are the big chunky rings and the delicate pave diamond necklaces mixed with a braided amulet, containing a special prayer and blessing. Her ideas for designs arise when she is traveling, meditating during
yoga or even when simply sitting at a coffee shop as her creativity can strike anytime and anywhere. She finds Cathy Waterman a true inspiration when it comes to designing jewelry. The Pyramid Ring with Twisted Band is a lovely ring that displays the exquisite detail and talent of its designer. Made of vermeil gold, the band has a delicate twist throughout and is accented with a tiny pyramid at the very top center. It looks classic when worn alone but is also quite stunning when paired with the many other gorgeous variety of bands and rings Jacquie Aiche Jewelry offers.
Jacquie Aiche Jewelry also offers unique pieces that provide a spiritual or mystical connection. The Silver Pave Eye Ring is beautifully crafted and skillfully designed to capture the “all seeing eye” and ward off evil. The elongated diamond shape of the top of the ring cradles a bright blue stone eye while being surrounded by pave diamonds to fill its shape. The blue eye contrasts elegantly against the brilliance of the pave diamonds, making this ring both sophisticated and imaginative. The distinctive nature of Jacquie’s designs is greatly influenced by her upbringing in two diverse cultures as her father is Egyptian and mother is American Indian. Jacquie often blends together elements of the two cultures such as ancient designs, amulets and hammered gold from her father’s side with natural minerals, gemstones, turquoise and fossils reminiscent of her mother’s Native American heritage.
One of Jacquie’s most original and endearing pieces is the Message in a Bottle Necklace which is unlike anything ever seen before. This charming necklace features a miniature flat faced glass bottle that encapsulates sand, tiny seashells, and a rolled up love letter, all hanging from a sterling silver chain. Wearing this necklace near your heart will always help you remember the message of love that is bottled within. We love this piece because it is unique and sure to be noticed for its whimsical creativity. "Jewelry can be very powerful and is a very personal, wearable art. It is intimate because it is close to a woman, caressing her skin. That is why my jewelry is organic and not mass produced. Each piece has an individual nature that must speak directly to the woman who wears it, capturing her unique mood and essence…or have a profound effect on the way she feels and the way people perceive her.” she shares.
Just as creative and original as the previous necklace, we also could not resist the Bulb Necklace with Gold Flakes. This lovely piece displays a small bulb bottle that holds 14k gold flakes floating in water that is sealed with a gold cap dangling from a gold chain. The size of the bulb bottle can be customized as small or large and can be filled with your choice of 14k, vermeil, or silver flakes. This necklace possesses an ethereal quality to it as the flakes peacefully sit in liquid while glinting in the sunlight. In her travels abroad, Jacquie cannot wait to return to Egypt as it always calls her back. She found it so mystical and realized the energy there is indescribable. Jacquie is always creating new designs to add to her collection while some classics will always remain in her line.
Jacquie is assisted by a very strong and loyal design and work team, whom she acknowledges in helping her pull it all together. She finds herself quite fortunate enough to sell to incredible stores such as Madison and Traffic in Los Angeles, Katia in Houston, and on shopbop.com. She is extremely grateful for their support throughout the years. In her spare time, Jacquie enjoys spending time with her two children, Luca and Zoe. Sharing her last words for our readers, she says, “I make jewelry for the wearer to feel uniquely special and confident. I put all my energy and love into each piece.” With that being said, how could anyone not want to be a part of this positive energy and vibrant love transformed into beautiful handcrafted jewelry that will leave you wanting more?
