Launched in 2004, Lisa Stewart Jewelry features a sophisticated and classic mix of jewelry made with 18k gold vermeil, semi-precious stones, along with some shiny silver and dark gunmetal pieces. The same year of her debut, she was nominated for the prestigious Gen Arts Fresh Faces in Fashion Award by the editor of Angeleno Magazine. Her timeless pieces incorporate fresh and modern designs with clean lines and simple shapes for bare elegance. Lisa has always exhibited creativity as she drew, painted, and wrote. Moving towards jewelry designing seemed like a good way for her to express her creativity in a way that could also be turned into a business. Lisa began teaching herself jewelry making as a hobby when she was married, and later turned her hobby into a career when she got divorced in order to make money.

She gets her ideas from magazines, her friends, observing people, and women whose style she admires. “I often will see something and then re-imagine it in my own style and then it becomes my own,” Lisa shares. She considers herself lucky to have lived in 
Paris for a year where she was inspired by French fashion and is a lifelong Chanel fan. She is also inspired by vintage designs as she is crazy for Art Deco and Edwardian jewelry.
