Loud Love Jewelry

Loud Love Jewelry

LA Designer Lives and Loves Loudly through Eclectic Designs

Loud Love JewelrySarah Jackson, Founder and Designer of Loud Love Jewelry, launched her much loved collection in March 2010.  The idea started when a few of her designs were made into rings and she fell in love with them.  After realizing others would probably love them too, she decided to pursue jewelry design and start her own jewelry line.  Loud Love Jewelry is unique from other jewelry collections because every design is an expression of who Sarah is and what she loves.  “Loud Love Jewelry is a combination of timeless, vintage and modern, yet not trendy.  Using sterling silver, gold, vermeil metals with a variety of stones, her designs are unique yet simple and can transform from day to night.  Her designs reflect her loud personality and love for eclectic and one-of-a-kind pieces.  All of her designs are handmade locally in Los Angles using eco-friendly materials.

Sarah was born with a creative soul and was always that girl who wore weird things backwards, inside out or painted everything with nail polish, trying to be “different.”  Prior to her career as a jewelry designer, Sarah was a celebrity wardrobe stylist for a few years.  She says, “I bow to those who have that hustle in them! Everyday there is way to pursue your creativity, getting dressed is the easiest and most fun way to creatively express who you are!”  At Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), Sarah studied Visual Communication, a very broad subject in which she learned many different aspects of design in the fashion world, including graphic design, set design, window displays, and more.  She never pursued or received any technical skills for jewelry design while in school.

Loud Love JewelryOne of the most versatile yet eye-catching and fun pieces is the Star Necklace in 14k gold vermeil.  A square enamel star with a gold vermeil border hangs from an 18” rolo chain necklace.  The medium sized square star is a nice size to add a pop of color to any outfit while the rich yellow gold trim border adds a touch of luxe appeal.  The most poplar colors are Ruby and Emerald but choose from your choice of seven different enamel colors to Loud Love Jewelrymatch your favorite outfits.  Loud Love Jewelry is happy to accommodate requests and any item can be custom ordered in solid 14k yellow, white, or rose gold or with pave diamonds.  A simple yet modern piece we recommend is the Victory Necklace, available in sterling silver or 14k gold vermeil.  We think this would look stunning with a v-neck top in accentuating the neckline as the sturdy solid wide V shaped bar naturally draws in the eyes.  Special ordering this with pave diamonds would dazzle for sure, but the unadorned version of this necklace with a basic silver or gold V is chic enough on its own.

Loud Love JewelrySarah named her line Loud Love Jewelry because she wanted something that expresses who she is, while still being short and catchy.  She says, “I am LOUD and I LOVE LOVE!”  Another Editor’s Pick are the Solid Heart Studs in 14k gold vermeil with cubic zirconia.  These tiny studs in shiny yellow gold are accented with a line of clear cubic zirconia stones down the middle, adding some bling while keeping it subtle.  You can also splurge and request these earrings with diamonds.  Small and lightweight, these earrings are ideal for everyday wear as gold hearts will go with any outfit.  Loud Love Jewelry designs two collections annually while continuing to sell all styles.  Her motto is to “love everything you do so loud that the blind can see and the deaf can hear!”

Loud Love JewelrySarah’s vision is to design timeless, inspirational and irresistible pieces that are bold and captivate all ages that define their character.  Her top favorite pieces are the Armor Necklace, Star Necklace, Top Finger Diamond Ring, Solid Heart Ring and the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Earrings.  She shares, “I don’t exactly know why they are my favorite but I feel like they are an expression of who I am-I wear all of those pieces everyday!”  Sarah designs all her pieces and her ideas stem from her obsession with vintage and unique designs in art, architecture, people and life.  Each design is made with an immense amount of passion for the arts, life and a way to express individuality.  She handles all aspects of her business by herself and is truly a one-woman company.  One of the most challenging parts of being a designer is “trying” to handle the business end at the same time.  Sarah shares, “I am a creative person, so numbers don’t really make any sense to me; I still use my fingers to add! ”

Her style of jewelry is best described as bold, timeless and unique.  Her favorite materials right now are enamel and more recently, leather, as she is learning about eco-friendly leathers!  With her new collection, she is introducing small leather goods which include travel jewelry boxes, jewelry roll-ups and pouches.  Sarah hopes that in five years, there will be more, more and more!

Celebrities are already big followers of Loud Love Jewelry, including Miley Cyrus, Brooklyn Decker, Kylie Jenner, Fergie, Nicky Hilton Loud Love Jewelryand Samaire Armstrong.  Some of the more popular pieces include the Initial and Number Rings, worn stacked together to represent an area code, significant other, state abbreviations and more, as soon featured in The Zoe Report and Star Magazine.  Also, the Double Finger Curve Ring was featured in Elle, Lucky and Oprah.  A unique ring that carries the universal mantra of peace and love, the Peace and Love Ring, has been spotted on Nicky Hilton, Fergie, and Samarie Armstrong.

When it comes to big house fashion names, Sarah does not have a favorite designer for any category of fashion, but will always love something and anything vintage.  Her vintage jewelry favorites are Cartier, Givenchy, Chanel, YSL, Gucci and Valentino.  In her spare time, Sarah loves browsing eBay, hanging out at the beach, eating, or browsing a flea market or thrift store.  A natural giver and lover of helping others, she even created an exclusive line for Global Green USA where 30% of the sales in that collection goes directly to the foundation.  Wrapping up, Sarah wants readers to know, “Express yourself through fashion, but most of all be YOU!”  Loud Love Jewelry is available in boutiques and online at
