Zahava Reismin is the owner and designer behind Sarah Chloe Jewelry. Sarah Chloe Jewelry is classic, understated, sentimental, wearable, and beautiful. Sarah Chloe is unique in that their focus is not just about designing beautiful jewelry, but is also about designing beautiful jewelry with the intention that each piece should have sentimental value to its wearer. What sets her collection apart from others on the market is her line for young girls. Zahava realizes that since girls are more style savvy then ever, it only makes sense to give them an opportunity to wear classically beautiful fine jewelry sized for especially for them.
Zahava was inspired to design a jewelry collection to celebrate the birth of her children when she had her daughter, Sarah Chloe. “My intention was to design pieces that had personal and emotional meaning for its wearer, but at the same time retained a classic aesthetic that was fashionable and attractive.” Zahava soon discovered that her debut collection hit a niche as it received immediate attention from press, retailers and customers. Encouraged by her natural success, Zahava continued to expand her line to include more fashion-oriented pieces, while also keeping true to her brand vision of designing jewelry that held sentimental and personal value to its wearer. As her line grew, her collection for girls ages 3-12 also grew as it offered them classic designer jewelry scaled to fit their smaller size.
In preparation for properly building and launching her own business, Zahava studied Business and Marketing. She was also fortunate enough to have parents who recognized her creativity at a young age and constantly supported her different creative outlets of fashion design, photography, creative writing, and ultimately jewelry design. Zahava designed her first jewelry collection when she was just eighteen, and sold them to family, friends, and customers through her first website. A great piece with a touch of personal sentiment is the Initial Charm Necklace, featuring a 1/2" initial charm disc in a classic style that works for everyone. Your letter of choice will be displayed in a script font and can be accented with a diamond or hanging semi-precious stone briolette.
This personalized piece can also have additional charms added so that you can layer two or more initials all along one chain. The Layered Initial Charms Necklace shown here features a small charm layered with a large charm for contrast. This is great for moms who want to add their childrens’ initials along with their own. In sharing her all-time favorite piece, Zahava is proud of her cutout monogram initial necklace, which combines the three initials of her family: her daughter, her husband and herself. “It is something that I wear all the time so that I feel my loved ones close to me always,” she says.
One of their best selling items and also a staff favorite here is the Wishbone Necklace with Diamond, available for under $100 in sterling silver or gold vermeil. 
This miniature wishbone is accented with a tiny diamond at the bottom tip of the wishbone and dangles delicately from a gold chain. This is a great everyday piece because it can be worn with anything and looks both casual and elegant with the floating diamond. This necklace is always a great gift for yourself or friends. Zahava works closely with numerous jewelers and setters in New York and uses the top jewelers, polishers and setters, all of whom are meticulous in their work ethics and output. “I am fortunate to operate my business in the heart of the fine jewelry world and I take full advantage of that,” she exclaims. Zahava’s favorite materials are diamonds since the right placement of even the smallest stone can add glamour to any piece. Zahava favors Diane Von Furstenberg as an inspiration for creativity, as her design and business mindset always continues to inspire and motivate.
Zahava has also been greatly inspired by her travels. She was inspired to begin working with 14k yellow gold after visiting Africa as the warmth of the color reminded her of the richness and warmth of the country. She was inspired by Gaudi’s masterpieces on her recent trip to Barcelona this past summer and incorporated rounded curved edges and unusual curvatures. But more than anything, it is living in New York City that constantly inspires Zahava. Everything around her from the cityscape to the creativity and history brings new ideas to life. She is keen each season’s high-fashion collections and allows herself to interpret what she sees into beautiful, wearable jewelry for every girl and woman.
